Supporting Families Through Our Donation To May's Toybank

Leyadoll Canada is proud to partner with May's Toybank, a community-based non-profit supporting children and families in Chestermere and the surrounding area.

On August 19, Leyadoll donated 30 handcrafted dolls, valued at approximately $1,830, to May's Toybank. The dolls will help provide children with toys that encourage imagination, creativity, and meaningful connection through play.

Founded by Marion Schmaltz, May's Toybank was created after she recognized a need for additional support for low-income families in the Chestermere community. Today, the organization continues to support families in Chestermere and surrounding areas by helping provide resources and meaningful experiences for children.

At Leyadoll, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, comfort, and connection that comes through play. This donation is part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities we serve and supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of children and families.

@leyadoll.com On Wednesday, we were given the opportunity to donate our dolls to Luna, Calgary’s Child and Youth Advocacy Centre.   Luna is a remarkable organization that works with children, youth, and families who have been impacted by abuse. What makes Luna so unique is that they take a multidisciplinary approach in supporting those who seek their services. Their facility is home to over 140 experts who work collaboratively on each case. These experts come from various fields; Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Alberta Justice, Calgary Police Service, Alberta Health Services (Medical & Therapy), Children and Family Services, and Victim Services.
