JollyHugs® Care Guide

To avoid soiling incidents, all JollyHugs dolls are individually bagged in plastic PVC bags before being placed in a delivery package. It takes a bit time to transport your JollyHugs from their birthplace to your hands, so during delivery, they might experience much of shaking and squeezing. Thus, be generous to give them an affectionate massage after receiving them.

Massage the head of your stuffed animal

The doll is made of fabric and cotton so you can easily adjust the shape of your doll until it's perfect. To have a round and full head, hold two sides of the doll's face and softly rub it back and forth.

Adjust the facial features

Gently comb the fur around to show their eyes, nose and mouth (if any).

Take a bath

JollyHugs recommend that you surface wash your doll only, using mild (non-toxic) soap and rinsing clean with cold water.
To help return the fur on your stuffed toy to its former glory, it can then be carefully dried with a hair dryer using little or no heat. (If you hang the toy on the washing line to dry instead of using a hair dryer you may find that the fur becomes stiff. Using a hair dryer on a cool setting helps to separate and fluff the fur fibers, reducing this stiffness).
For significant soiling incidents (that can not be resolved with surface washing), a gentle machine wash on a cool setting may be necessary. In this instance we recommend placing your JollyHugs in a hosiery bag before putting in the washing machine. To help return the fur on your stuffed toy to its former glory after washing, it can then be carefully dried with a hair dryer using little or no heat to separate the fur fibers. The toy should then be hung for several days to completely air dry.
Please note that machine washing is a last resort cleaning option and not part of the manufactures care instructions or product warranty (unless otherwise stated on the sewn-in label).
