Supporting Families Through Our Donation to Children's Cottage Society

At the North American Leyadoll office in Canada, we are always looking for charities and non-profit organizations that would benefit from donations of our dolls.

Our goal is to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing difficult circumstances.

Children's Cottage Society is an important and impactful organization based in Calgary that supports children and families in crisis. Founded in 1986, it began as a small six-bedroom home and has since grown into a three-story Child and Family Centre — becoming Canada's first crisis nursery.

Today, the organization provides essential services including emergency childcare, family shelter support, mental health resources, and early childhood development programs. Their work ensures that parents and caregivers have a safe place to turn when they need help the most, and that children are cared for in times of crisis.

To support this mission, our North American Leyadoll team donated 30 dolls, including Princess Breeze, Chloe and Bella Sweetheart, Daisy Girl and Melia Girl. These dolls are intended to bring comfort and give children a companion they can hold and cherish.

During our visit, Marisa and Kaylie had the opportunity to meet some of the wonderful staff members at Children's Cottage Society. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind, and it was inspiring to learn more about the organization's mission and the support they provide to children and families in our community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an impactful organization and to support the important work they do for families in our community.
